Tigress T-107 Sultana's cub dies in Ranthambore National Park

There is a sad news for wildlife lovers from Ranthambore National Park. According to the information received from the Forest Department, a cub of tigress T107 alias Sultana has died in Ranthambore National Park.

Recently on June 5, 2022, tigress Sultana T107 was seen with cub on Gomukhi at Mishar darrah Gate of Ranthambore National Park. This was the tigress's second litter. In this second litter, tigress Sultana gave birth to two cubs, out of which one cub has died.

Just 2 days ago on June 13, 2022, tigress Sultana was seen with both her cubs near Mishar darrah Gate of Ranthambore. Forest officials had seen the tigress Sultana shifting her two cubs near Mishar darrah Gate. Today on June 16, 2022, one of the cubs died.

According to forest officials, the cub died after falling into the Gomukhi pond from the window of the old room above Mishra Darah. According to forest officials, the height of the old room above the Mishra Darah gate from the Gomukhi pond is about 15 feet.

Crocodiles live in this water of Gomukhi pond. After the cub fell into the Gomukhi pond, the tigress Sultana T107 roared near the pond for a long time. It is suspected that the crocodile may have eaten the cub.
